Everyone on your road offers the same things. That is the problem worth solving.

You already know how to do this work. What you may not have yet are treatments nobody nearby can offer, and a way of talking to clients that makes price the last thing they ask about.

I2CAN’s cosmetology and trichology courses are for practising beauty professionals rather than doctors. They cover advanced skin and hair work, microblading and micropigmentation, taught through supervised hands-on practice. What a non-medical graduate may lawfully perform is narrower than what a registered medical practitioner may, and each course page states the boundary.

Why upgrade now

Ask yourself five questions

Not about whether you are good at this. You already are. About whether being good is still enough.

Does every salon near you offer more or less the same list of services?
When a new place opens and drops its prices, do you have an answer other than dropping yours?
Do clients ask you for results you currently have to send somewhere else?
Would you rather be consulted about a problem than asked for a facial?
And do you want to charge for what you know, not only for the hour you spend?
If those five are true, you do not need another service on the menu. You need a different kind of setup.

Two things separate a salon from a centre. Treatments that need training and equipment, which is exactly why the place down the road will not have them. And a consultation that identifies what is actually wrong before anything is recommended. The first can be bought. The second cannot, and it is the one clients remember.

The work itself

What you will be able to offer

Machine-based treatments for skin and hair, semi-permanent techniques, and the part most people underestimate: the ability to assess a client properly before recommending anything.

Machine-based skin work

  • Radiofrequency and microneedling RF
  • Lasers and IPL
  • Skin resurfacing
  • Advanced facials

Skin conditions

  • Acne and acne marks
  • Pigmentation
  • Anti-ageing and firming
  • Chemical peels

Hair and scalp

  • Hair fall and thinning
  • Scalp assessment
  • Trichology basics
  • Scalp treatments

Semi-permanent

  • Microblading and ombre brows
  • Lip micropigmentation
  • Scalp micropigmentation
  • BB Glow

What is not included, and why.
Injectable procedures, PRP, Botox and dermal fillers, are not open to non-medical practitioners under Indian regulation, so we do not teach them here and no reputable institute should. We would rather you knew that from us now than found out from a client, a competitor or a regulator later. The eligibility guide explains the boundary in full.

The long view

You are not enrolling in a course. You are joining a community.

You already have a business. What follows the course matters more than the course, because the difficult questions arrive after you get back and start using what you learned.

1Upgrade

Learn what others nearby cannot do

Machine-based treatments and the consultation approach behind them, taught on real clients with written protocols to take away.

2Apply

Put it into the setup you already run

Which machine to buy first, what it lets you offer, and where to source it. Guidance, and procurement through our partners if you want it.

3Differentiate

Become the place people are sent to

When you offer what nobody nearby offers, and consult the way nobody nearby consults, price stops being the conversation.

4Grow

From a salon to a centre

More treatments, better clients, staff you can train yourself. Several of our alumni have made exactly that move.

What continues after you leave

All of it is included, and none of it expires. There is no subscription attached to any of this.

Come back any time

Re-attend the diploma in any future batch, without limit and without paying again, for as long as you practise.

The support group

Post a case or a question. Faculty and professionals who trained before you answer, usually the same day.

Free monthly sessions

Regular online sessions on what is new: treatments, machines, techniques. Open to every alumnus.

Machines and products

Guidance on what to buy and when, and the option to source machines and consumables through our partners.

What you can enrol in

Two programmes

One broad, one focused. Most people take the diploma first and add the second later, but they work in either order. No fees are published here. A counsellor will talk you through what applies to you.

How it is taught

We teach you to think like a clinician, and to be seen as one

Anyone can learn to run a machine. What changes a business is being the person who works out what is actually wrong, explains it clearly, and recommends a plan the client believes in.

The approach

Assess first, recommend second

How to look at a skin or a scalp and identify the real problem. How to ask the right questions. How to plan treatment across several sessions instead of selling one. And how to say all of that to a client so that they can hear you know what you are talking about, which is the moment price stops mattering.

The technique

Learn each treatment properly

Theory behind every procedure, then the procedure itself on real clients, under supervision, until it feels comfortable. Written protocols for each one, so nothing depends on how good your notes were on the day.

The order is deliberate and it is the same for everybody we teach: understand the concept, watch it applied to a real person, then do it yourself. Cases run right through the programme rather than appearing at the end, so you are constantly using what you just learned instead of storing it up. That is what makes it stick, and why people leave confident rather than merely certified.

Nothing about it is improvised. The sequence, the number of cases, the balance of theory and practice and the point at which you first touch a client are all fixed, and they are the same in every batch at every centre.

“The best hands-on I have seen anywhere.”
Our students say it more often than they say anything else, across more than a thousand reviews of our Pune and Navi Mumbai centres, averaging 4.9.

Common questions

Questions beauty professionals ask us

Whether it is for you

Treatments your competitors cannot offer without training and equipment, and a way of consulting that changes what a client thinks they are buying. Most salons compete on service and price. This is how you stop doing that.

Length, depth and what you practise on. You will work on real clients rather than watch demonstrations, you leave with written protocols for every procedure, and you can come back and do the whole thing again free if you want more repetitions.

That is the formal requirement, yes. But this is built for people who already work in the field and have clients of their own. If you are just starting out, tell the counsellor, there may be a better order to do things in.

Yes. The online format with a separate hands-on week exists for exactly that. You may also defer your admission by up to six months, or move between batches, by telling your counsellor in advance.

What you may and may not do

Injectable procedures, PRP, Botox and dermal fillers, are restricted to medical practitioners under Indian regulation. We do not teach them to non-medical students, and you should be cautious of any institute that offers to. Everything else on the syllabus, you may perform.

An I2CAN diploma or certificate for every programme. The Advanced Diploma taken at Pune or Navi Mumbai also lets you sit a Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council examination and receive the Aesthetic Skin Technician certificate. These are vocational qualifications, not university degrees, and we do not claim otherwise.

We have arrangements with more than thirty clinic chains and provide interview guidance and feedback. It is assistance rather than a guarantee, and we would rather say so plainly.

The practical side

No. Part of the programme is working out which machine makes sense first for the kind of clients you have and the space you work in. Afterwards we help you choose and, if you want, source it through our partners.

There is no single figure, and anyone who gives you one without asking questions is guessing. It depends on your city, your space, which treatments you want to offer and the standard of machine you choose. A counsellor can give you a realistic range once they know your plan.

Yes, across every procedure taught. Not models, not mannequins. If you want more repetitions than the batch allows, you can re-attend the hands-on sessions at no cost.

Yes for the Advanced Diploma: any future batch, no time limit, subject only to seat availability. The short certificate courses are not included in free re-attendance.

Hindi and English at every centre, with Marathi in Pune and Navi Mumbai and Telugu in Hyderabad. Say what you are comfortable with when you enquire.

Rarely more than thirty. Hands-on time per person is the limit, so batches are capped rather than filled.

The first conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

Tell us what you run now and what you are trying to build. If a programme fits, we will say which one and why. If the timing is wrong, we will say that too. It happens, and it is better said now than after you have paid.
